WHO ARE RAZZLE DAZZLE?

STAFF

TARA WEBSTER   ATCL
PRINCIPAL

#photo

Tara is an accomplished musician, having studied music since the age of seven, and has achieved distinctions at the highest level in numerous musical disciplines.  She is well known for her work as a vocal teacher and also teaches a wide range of instruments from the piano through most woodwind and strings.  Tara is an Associate Teacher of the Trinity College and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and is continuing her studies to become a Licentiate Teacher of the Trinity College and Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Her professional musical career began at the BBC, where her talents saw her quickly promoted to the youngest BBC Producer for Schools Radio there had been.  She wrote and produced many musical productions for radio persuading many stars such as Tom Baker, Bill Oddie, Toyah, Danny John Jules and Bonnie Langford to take part. She also produced many popular schools music series such as The Music Box, Time and Tune, Singing Together and Music Workshop.

Having spent most of her time at the BBC in Radio Broadcasting and Production, Tara moved to television for a number of years and was involved in the production of numerous childrens and schools television programmes.

Throughout her career, Tara has always enjoyed teaching others and passing on her skills, and since the birth of her daughter, teaching has become her passion.  She teaches both privately and in schools, working on a one to one basis as well as being a specialist teacher of music in the National Curriculum in both primary and secondary schools.

Having worked as the musical director for numerous well known theatre schools working on many different productions, and having a daughter with a keen interest in all three disciplines of acting, singing and dancing, Tara took the decision to open her own stage school enabling her to bring together her extensive skills and create the vital combination of fun and learning that she felt was missing for children of all ages and abilities.

TEACHERS

All  our teachers are CRB (police) checked and are licensed chaperones.  We ensure they have relevant professional experience in the discipline they teach, and also teaching experience with children - they are not just actors, singers or dancers doing a spot of teaching!

We have included a short biography for each of our teachers below, so that you can read more about them.

We have a comprehensive Child Protection Policy which all of our staff (including volunteers) abide by. You are welcome to view a copy of our CPP at any time. You are also welcome to view any of our other policies - we have in-place a full set of working practice documents and polices that you would expect from any professional organisation.

Razzle Dazzle Stage School and all its teachers have full Public Liability insurance. You are welcome to inspect the School's insurance policy documents at any time.

There is always at least one qualified first aider available during all classes.
